Questions we actually get.

Money

What does Funnest keep?

$1,234 for the kit. Plus 1% of each donation on our giving page.

Using your own giving page? Just the $1,234. Checks? Nothing.

Isn't a "free" platform cheaper?

On your PTO's books, often yes. Most free platforms ask families for a tip at checkout instead. We never do.

Run your own numbers

Where does the money go?

Straight to your PTO's own Stripe account, and Stripe pays your bank. Funnest never holds your money.

What about cash and checks?

They go straight to your PTO. No fee.

When does the money arrive?

On Stripe's regular payout schedule, straight to your PTO's bank.

Is Funnest a nonprofit?

No. Funnest is a small business that makes the kit. Your PTO raises the money, and every donation goes to your PTO's own account.

What about prizes?

Totally your call. The goal stunts and class rewards come free. We don't sell or ship prizes.

Trust

Who's behind Funnest?

We built it at our own school first. Our story

Has anyone used it?

Our own school. As a kit, Funnest is brand new, so you'd be one of the first.

Do you collect student information?

Only what a family types: a first name, last initial and class.

No rosters, ever. No addresses, and no photos of students on public pages.

Will our district approve it?

Every fundraiser needs your district's OK, so get it before you buy.

Run day

How many helpers does it take?

A few grown-ups we call Mo-tivators. Each one gets a cheat sheet, so nobody has to guess.

Do teachers have to do anything?

Run, walk or cheer with their class. Nothing to count or hand out.

Do we have to count laps?

No. Families give a flat donation, so nobody adds up laps.

What about students who don't love running?

That's most of them, and that's the point. Walkers walk, class clowns own the silly laps, best friends squad up, and anybody can try the bottle flip.

Does every student get to run?

Yes. Giving is optional. Every student runs.

We don't have a DJ or a big speaker. Now what?

You need a phone and one good speaker. One phone runs the whole show, even with no signal.

Can it be quieter for some students?

Yes. A Sensory heat turns the volume down and the sound effects off.

Can we keep our school song?

Yes. Add it anywhere in the show.

Who makes the songs?

We do. We wrote and produced them, with a little help from AI. They're catchy. (Sorry in advance.)

What if it rains?

Pick a rain date when you pick your run date.
